Telen is the provincial capital of Coranan Province in the Thardic Republic, and the third largest settlement in Tharda after Coranan and Shiran. It is situated on the river Thard, and has a population of about 2,500.
The town has a castle, with a garrison of about 100 men, including 20 light horse. There are temples of Agrik, Larani and Save-K'nor here.
The most powerful clan here is the mercantyling clan of Nordaka, and their influence in all facets of town life is strong.
