Larani

The Lady of Paladins is the goddess of chivalry and battle, favoured by the feudal nobility. Those who follow her are expected to display courage, compassion and honour.

Despite being a goddess of War, Larani despises violence, and believes that it should only be used as a last resort. Her followers vary greatly in how closely they follow this particular ideal, the militant orders of her church can be especially lax at times at avoiding violent confrontation.

There are two clerical orders on Harn, the Spear of Shattered Sorrow which is based in eastern Harn, and the Order of Hyvrik which is based in western Harn, principally in Kanday. Though each order sponsors its own fighting order, each also has martial members of the clergy, who are capable of defending the church in times of need.

Alliances and Rivalries

Agrik

Larani and Agrik are immortal enemies. They both represent war, though both for very different reasons.

Peoni

Larani and Peoni are closely allied. Both claim the protection of the common man as central to their beliefs, and while Peoni is a pacifist, Larani is able to step in and give aid when such an outlook is not feasable.
