| Galmorda |
The following letters were found at the Gargun colony of Galmorda.
The Khala-Khida Odolf,
I thank you for taking the time to respond to my last missive. Your response was most helpful and prompt. If as the miners say, there are further levels beneath where they work, then anything could be found there. The dwarfs delved deeply in those times, and undoubtably uncovered many secrets of the lower world.
As I said, there is some evidence that there is a path there that the Master of Chaos took to this world. Though it is but one rumour, it bares a resemblance to the thinking of Rathal, the Sindarin who follows the Tormentor.
The wealth that is mined is said to be but a fraction of what is available. An expedition into the lower depths may be useful in more material ways if this is the case. I am willing to take part in an expedition if necessary. I fear I have too much experience with the darkness of caves, but a little more I could endure.
I am glad that Solorin is dead. It may be wise to check in Telen to see if anyone other than the historian knew where he went. The guild of miners may be able to do the work - they have most to lose if Tharda hears of this.
May the Wielder of the Shadow look not at you until your time.
Your humble servant, Shenava Adinia of Galmorda.
Mavari,
I am still awaiting your solution to the fourth principle of Peleahn. I cannot understand why you are having so many problems in understanding such a simple problem. Look at the section by Moubios again, in the part concerning exothermic effects on Pvarism.
Your last work was also quite pathetic. Your initial facts were correct, the logic had holes large enough to drive a wagon through, but was more or less on the correct track. However, your conclusion bore no resemblance to either the facts or the logic. I can only assume you copied it from the appendix to Moubios, which I have told you before it invalid and wrong.
The rest of the letters in this package are for Adinia, I'm sure she can understand them far better than you. You should stop lusting after her tits and start paying attention to how she thinks. I sometimes wonder why I waste my time with you. Adinia would have made a far better Mavari. Maybe you need to be handed to the Torkena-Matan to focus your mind on your studies.
What you do need to know is that the Senate is currently looking into aiding Viriahn Ellinia when the switch is declared. Orders from the Tethona Bukrani are to mislead Golotha into when this will happen, in order such that it can go ahead. The chaos will be to our advantage.
It is liable to weaken both Rethem and Tharda enough to let the church gain more influence. This will only happen if the Senate does not suspect Golotha knows, and if Golotha does not know enough. We need the war to be long. A short victory by either side would not help us (if anything, it would strengthen Agrik, which is possibly worse than the status quo).
The Gargun will be ordered to move when deemed most useful.
Shenava Netchin.
Mavari,
The Khala-Bukrin has spoken, there is nothing more to be said. The Viriahn apparently knows the Sindarin. She hinted that she knew quite a lot, but I couldn't push her without revealing that I knew of him also. Pass this on to Adinia, since she may be able to do something with the knowledge.
As regards to the Ivashu, kill them all. The Order of Ibenis has strayed too close to the truth at Sirion, and now there are some at Geshtei as well. If any more come close to Galmorda, send Gargun after them.
Shenava Netchin.
Mavari,
I am not sure what to make of Tresyla, though you were right to report her to me. I have made some inquiries, and no-one is aware of anyone of that name in the Order. Either Adinia is mistaken, or she goes by a false name. The latter is probably likely. Standing orders are still to kill her however, so I am not sure why Adinia keeps her alive.
You should have made a note of the map while you still remembered it, rather than blaming Adinia for not letting you keep a copy. That woman has her own agenda, and whether it is that of the Uzheda or really her own I do not know. Either way, it is not entirely ours.
As to Cheira of Norwin, there is one by that name in the Guild, but she is not Shek-Pvar. She is a student of the Khuzdul and Lothrim, and was last known to be on an expedition to Kiraz last year - at least according to Shenava Bellinus.
Oh, you mentioned 'going over' past correspondence. That implies to me that you have not been destroying all written material not directly concerned with Pvaric theory. If this is the case, then you are an even bigger idiot that I thought. Destroy this, and all other letters, immediately.
Shenava Netchin.
Mavari,
Adinia is definitely wasting her time. Tresyla is mad or wrong. You should stop hanging on that woman's every word. She's a fanatic, for the wrong reasons. Neither Siem nor the Lord of Darkness have anything to do with Irachu.
In better news, my books are finished. They're not leaving my quarters here (and neither am I), until I get a chance to take them to Melderyn. The recognition I'll get will make all the effort worth it. Some of it may even rub off on you, assuming you get your mind together enough to complete your apprenticeship.
Remember, burn this you idiot.
Shenava Netchin.
