Eight Demons

An all female clerical order of Agrik, infamous for sexual torture and the sacrifice of male captives. It split from its parent order, Herpa the Mace in 714. It is currently based in eastern Rethem, where it holds several areas of land.

The Eight Demons sponsors the fighting order Cohorts of Gashang.

Titles and Organisation

The following titles are commonly used within the Eight Demons clerical order. They are typical of clerical orders of Agrik all across Harn.

Head of an Agrikan clerical order. The current Senesharil of Eight Demons is Merele of Kantar. She also happens to be Viriahn of the temple at Shiran. Merele is sadistic, cruel and ruthless even by the standards of Eight Demons. Head of a temple. Deputy grandmaster of an order, the current being Karel of Delvanau, at Gerdel near Themeson. She oversees the Rethemi branch of Eight Demons. A priestess of an Agrikan clerical order. They are above the acoloytes, but below the temple masters.

Land and Wealth

Most of the land possessed by Eight Demons is along the Rethem-Thardic border. It has control over fifteen manors itself, plus the Cohorts of Gashang hold Themeson keep and six nearby manors.

The order holds Boreth, Culsonn, Duny, Gerdel, Hentath, Indral, Koselt, Kovind, Lymory, Nafid, Ormaune and Shena on the Rethemi side of the border. All of these are in Gerdel hundred.

Another three villas are held in Tharda.
