Coranan

Coranan is Harn's largest city, and the capital of the Thardic Republic. It has a population of about 12,500.

Temples

The city has twelve temples, each of which vies for control of the populace. The more worshippers, the bigger the tithes, and the more influence the temple has within the senate.

The largest temples (by congregation) are those of Halea, Peoni and Larani, followed somewhat by the Eight Demons and then everyone else. Actual influence and wealth does not follow this order directly. Save-K'nor especially receives most of its funding from a few rich sources, and the Octagonal Pit receives practically everything from the running of the games.

Temples here include Eight Demons, Lord of Chaos.

Order of the Octagonal Pit

The Octagonal pit runs the games here.

Order of the Silken Voice

The richest and most powerful of the temples in Coranan.

Order of Hyvrik

The Order of Hyvrik is one of the more influential of the temples here, though it potrays itself as the downtrodden, fighting for a voice type of temple which helps appeal to a certain type of potential worshipper.

Priests

There are fourteen priests in total, including six Ashesa (acolytes).

Serolan

Serolan Althrik is High Priest of the temple. He is in his seventies, and beginning to loose the touch he once had.

Valaran

The Master of Acolytes is Jacob, a stern, balding man in his forties.

Suloran

The post of Master of Archives is currently vacant. The previous Master, a man named Abron, vanished in 720.

Obasaran

The Master of Secular Affairs is a 38 year old lady called Jemeena.

Menoran

The Master of the Fighting Order is an old knight named Lodan of Menekod. He is a highly skilled warrior, and bloody minded enough to not necessarily know when use of those skills might not be the best option.
