The Bloodwitch of Sonodalr began her career as a viking plying the coasts of Weidany and Midlaen. She came from Jarnyland, and was said to be a huge woman with a fiery temper. Also known for her cunning and skill at battle, she learnt wizardry it is said from some wizards on Deorcis.
Though she was feared in her own lifetime, she is mostly remembered because she became Queen of Sonodolr in 1133, forging a small kingdom for herself which she ruled with an iron fist until her death in 1161.
She had two children, Oddi who received the kingdom on her death, and Aerndis Vickdotter who married Egill the Red. The current king of Sonodalr is Aerndis' grandson, Edgar Raedsson.
