Hain Shire

Hain shire is not particularly big, wealthy or famous, but it is stable, and the folk here take pride in the fact that they have nothing special to be proud of.

The House of Eanwulf has recently started to gain influence within the shire, though the thegns of Hain are resisting in order to keep their independence from any of the major Houses. Some are talking of an alliance with Peada despite the necessary political involvement this will bring.
