Fomarg

It is thought that the fomarg lived on the isle before men came to it, though records from this time are unclear. They are a race of giants, standing about three metres tall. They live in small (or large, depending on your point of view) villages in some of the forested regions of the isle. Despite their size, they are excellent hunters, and many stories tell of their skill with their great bows, which even the strongest of men cannot hope to draw.

The fomarg are cool towards men, especially towards those that trespass on their land. They can be treacherous and cowardly.
