Feldanvithr

The Feldanvithr are on the borders of the two Brytish kingdoms Sonodalr and Harholt. Known as the hidden woods, they are not particularly large or impressive, but have a reputation which causes most people to avoid them.

The woods are said to hide a hidden kingdom, which stretches for many tens of leagues, though the woods themselves are only five leagues west to east, and a mere two north to south. Those who travel its paths can take weeks to cross it, so most go around instead, a journey of only one or two days.

The woods are deciduous, and though wild and dense, not more so than much of the rest of the untamed woodlands which are found in Bryteland. Red deer and wild boar are common, though rarely hunted.

The Hidden Kingdom

Within the depths of Feldanvithr is the Hidden Kingdom, ruled by the undead jarl Sigtrygg. The size of his kingdom of undead is unknown, though it is said that they keep living men and women as herds, drinking their blood in order to sustain their undead life.
