| Eastern Kingdoms |
The Eastern Kingdoms includes the region east of the Withrican Mountains. Most of it is relatively low population, though the coastal regions are made up of large city states.
Most of the cultures here share a belief in the concept of Beloga.
The Eastern Kingdoms were settled sometime after the Ice had retreated from Euressa. The initial settlers of the continent had been constrained to the central regions whilst the Ice had been present, then moved westwards with the retreat of the Ice.
First wave of eastern settlers land at Chibiversk. There are people here already, though they are few in number, and are easily subdued.
The Empire of Chibiverskia becomes the first of the large nation states to arise in the east. It lasts for little over two hundred years, but eventually collapses, partly from within, partly due to barbarian incursions from the west.
City of Chezok declares a Kingdom.
Chibiversk reforms as a small kingdom. A large temple to Svargi is built.
Temple of Svargi at Chibiversk is recognised as centre of the religion. This gives the kingdom a lot more influence than it would otherwise have.
Chezok swears fealty to Chibiversk.
Wars in Western Kurbia, against various Ice Cults. Many wizards are involved in the fighting and there is much chaos.
The Levas League is formed, and there is peace with Chibiversk of a sorts. Inquisition founded to hunt out followers of the Ice. All the Inquisitors are powerful wizards.
Levas League official becomes part of the Kingdom of Kurbia, with Chibiversk as capital.
The Inquisition begins a crusade against the Ice and anyone suspected of having sympathies with it. Wizards who are not part of the Inquisition are declared guilty, hunted down, and killed.
The 2nd Crusade is even bloodier than the first. War against people who have fled to the False Mountains.
The Inquisition leaders are massacred after rumours of a 3rd Crusade being planned. The coup is managed by many Wizards who had survived the witch hunts, plus also some Inquisitors themselves. The Inquisition is disbanded, and the libraries are opened up to everyone.
The Guild of Wizardry is formed, and the libraries are closed to non members.
