These pages are full of Full Thrust related content, from miniatures to fleet designs and rules. Some of the other SF settings, such as Mortals and Traveller, have used the GZG miniatures as a basis for ship design, but such references aren't FT so are not included here.
Unless otherwise stated, the material here is for the new(ish) Fleet Book rules. Some of the material here is over 10 years old however, and predates those rules.
Fleets of the GZGverse
There are many different nations in the GZGverse, and not all of them have official designs for the available models. The following are my own designs for the various fleets that I own. Where a fleet is listed but doesn't have designs associated with it, it means I have the models, but haven't got around to publishing the designs.
Major Nations
There are four major nations in the GZG universe, which are the original four fleets. To represent their 'major' status, I've given each of these fleets a special feature. They don't get this feature for free, but it's either rare or stackable. It only applies to the new design fleets.
- Neu Swabian League - Some ship designs for the Neu Swabian League. This covers 3 generations of designs, from FT2 up to the new designs. The newest NSL ships have the advantage of only having 3 rows of hull boxes, reducing the number of threshold checks they need to make.
- New Anglican Confederation - Making heavy use of fighters, the NAC is one of the most powerful fleets in known space. All NAC fighters have the long range ability. This can be stacked with other fighter abilities (such as heavy).
- Federal Stats Europa - Another fleet that is known for its heavy use of fighters, the FSE isn't as high tech as the NAC. The FSE focuses on being fast and manoeuvrable, and all its fighters have the fast ability. This can stack with other abilities.
Civilian Vessels
- Civilian Vessels - Merchant and other civilian vessels found throughout knownspace. They are rarely restricted to a single nation or organisation.
Pirates and Raiders
- Raider Fleet - A small fleet of civilian ships captured by pirates and upgraded with enough armaments to raid civilian convoys and lightly defended outposts.
- Ravagers - A particularly nasty group of pirates.
Fleet Conversions
Star Wars - Some More Thrust designs for Star Destroyers and conversions for Star Wars fighters.
Babylon 5 - Some rough conversion rules for Babylon 5 technology, using Fleet Book rules.
Rules
Planets - Rules for using planets in Full Thrust.
Planetary Assault - Some rules for attacking and defending planets in Full Thrust.
Photographs
Fleets of '97 - Photographs of Neu Swabian League and Federal States of Europe fleets from 1997.
Narn and Centauri - Some photographs of some of my B5 Wars models.
