Federal Stats Europa
The FSE is one of the four major powers of human space, and consists of most of the old European nations which aren't part of the NSL or NAC. It is mostly on neutral terms with the ESU, but has frequent conflicts with the NSL and IF over territory.
It was formed in 2101 from remnants of what was the European Space Force, and it is now roughly similar in size and capability to the NSL. Recently, a new line of ships went into production which have started to replace the Core Fleet. The Colonial Fleets still tend to use the older ships, and will probably do so until they have been lost in engagements or have exceeded their service life. A few have been sold to the PAU however as part of a good will gesture.
The Core Fleet
The FSE relies heavily on fighter support, and has some of the largest carriers. However, their carriers are more general purpose than those of the NAC, carrying effective offensive capability themselves.
All FSE fighters are considered to be fast, having a base move of 36" rather than 24". They pay for this as normal, but it may stack with other abilities. Note that all the FSE's fighter squadrons have been replaced with the newer models, even those fielded by the Colonial Fleet from the older carriers.
