The Mole Hill is the unofficial nickname given to (312619) 2009 SS₂₄₆, an 11km diameter Trojan asteroid in the Greek camp (ahead of Jupiter, at L4). It has formed from an amalgamation of other asteroid fragments, and has varied compositions because of this.

It was founded by the Black Sky Industries, a hypercorp that predated the fall and has a reputation of working at the cutting edge of high-risk high-reward science and exploration.

It is a Beehive settlement, mostly silica, with enough of a rotation to provide a .2g gravity around the equator. It was originally populated prior to the Fall, but has become mostly deserted since then. The current population inhabits just a small part of the station.
